FAQ

How do I pick up my online order? After placing an online order you will receive a confirmation email which includes pickup instructions. The phone number of the shop will be listed. Feel free to call us when you arrive for curbside pickup or come into the shop to get your order.

Can I place a phone order? We are not accepting phone orders at this time. We currently have only one phone line at each shop and like to keep this phone line open for calls regarding curbside pickup. We are happy to take your order via our website or as a walk-in!

My online order said it won’t be ready for an hour. Why is that? We like to describe online ordering as waiting in a virtual line. Although you have placed your order, we may have many orders ahead of you “in line”. This means we may not start working on your order for a bit. Pint and quarts also take longer than cups to prepare so this can add to the wait time. We will always get your order ready as quickly as we can. If we finish it prior to your pickup time you will receive a second email stating your order is ready. We will keep it in our ice cold freezer until you arrive!

Why can’t I order a sundae, cabinet, or hot fudge with my online order? Since online orders are packed to-go and stored in our freezer we are not able to prepare orders with hot fudge or whipped cream. These toppings are best when added immediately prior to eating. We feel we would be taking away from the order if we did not serve them that way. These items are available for walk-in orders. This is due to the above but also to help serve customers as efficiently as possible inside the store.

Do you deliver? We do not offer delivery at this time. We have chosen not to partner with any delivery services over concern for storage and timeliness of deliveries. No one wants ice cream soup to arrive at their door!

Do you sell gift cards? Yes! We offer physical gift cards in shop and e-gift cards at this link.

Do you make your own ice cream? Yes! All our ice cream is made on-site.

Do you make ice cream cakes? At this time we are not able to make ice cream cakes. We would love to do this at some point but currently do not have the bandwidth to keep up with requests.

Why do you run out of flavors? We make ice cream on a daily basis throughout our season however we are limited by our storage capacity. Typically this has not been an issue as we are able to catch up each morning. With our current operations we are selling a significantly higher percentage of pints and quarts than previous seasons. We love that our customers are able to enjoy our ice cream at home however it does cause us to go through tubs of ice cream more quickly. We are doing our very best to keep up and, with the exception of specials, rarely go more than a day without our regular flavors. PRO TIP - follow us on social media and turn on post notifications to stay in the know on when specials go live. Feel free to place an online order with a future pickup time if you are not able to make the trip that day - we will always keep it cold for you!

Can you accommodate allergies, intolerances, and dietary preferences? As we are a homemade ice cream shop all our flavors are mixed on one machine. We take allergies and food intolerances very seriously and take extra care in sanitizing our machine in-between flavor batches. However, due to this, we cannot 100% guarantee that any flavor is allergen free. We request that anyone with an allergy inform their server prior to scooping. We will always scoop from a fresh tub with a cleaned scoop in order to further minimize the risk of cross-contamination.

Why is your shop called ‘Clementine’s’? Our shop is named after our beloved first dog, Clementine. She passed away our first season in EG but we are so happy her memory gets to live on in our shop. We miss her every day.

Do you do weddings and events? We are currently assessing our ability to continue doing events. Stay tuned for updates!

Are you hiring? We are always looking for good applicants! We do most our hiring at the beginning of the season based on who is returning from last season. You can submit an application via our site so we have it on file. If we are interested in setting up an interview we’ll reach out to you!
